Sam Belt, a.k.a. cutwoes, has spent a decade refining his sound as a DJ and producer. Born in London, he came of age as an artist in D.C. and now lives in Cambridge, MA. His label Gummies is a study in the emotional speedball: music that makes you dance, but also a little sad, longing and nostalgic. Based out of his studio space in the heart of Central Square, as a producer he mixes elements across genres that have not been combined before, creating unique blends that stretch the conventional wisdom. As a DJ, you can catch him playing everything from house and techno to breaks and club music at nights across Boston, opening for artists such as Fort Romeau, Ryan Eliott and VTSS
